My serpentine belt start to cry a bit (engine cold) when I start the car.
I'm thinking to replace it along with the belt tensioner.
Normally at what mileage you start to think about replacing it?
I'm currently at 63k miles (101k km).
Thanks!

I've always just replaced belts when I started noticing cracking or it having too much slack. And 63k seems entirely too early to replace any pulleys, but if it gives you more peace of mind, do anything you think you may need to.

Today's belts really don't crack like they used to, due to silicone/rubber compound for increased service intervals the will usually keep going until they just slip or snap entirely.
Also if you are going to change the serpentine belt you have to take the A/C belt off(there are two belts on the focus) . I would suggest to go ahead and replace them at the same time but you'll need a stretchy belt tool(you can just cut the old belts off)

I didn't know that, thanks for the info.

I would check first if the belt simply needs its tension adjusted before going to all that trouble. Automatic tensioners can and do need adjustment in the life of the vehicle, not necessarily replacement. Good luck and let us know the root cause!

63k miles seems pretty early for a belt. They normally don't need changing till you hit the 100's.
Also, what lilricky said in regards to the tensioner. If you're just trying to do preventative maintenance, go for it, but it may be overkill for what really needs done.

For all the prev. cars it seldom made sense to replace the belt and NOT the tensioner, since the old tensioner wouldn't outlast a new belt and OFTEN took out the new one - requiring both anyways.
Only if a problem killed the belt AFTER a new tensioner went on would just a belt make sense.

Take a CLOSE look at pulley grooves too, in certain rare circumstances the grooves can concrete dirt in the bottom to raise the belt and lose friction, then it squeals same as a worn out one does.

You can't change the serpentine belt without CUTTING and replacing the ac flex belt. The serpentine belt is cake and takes five minutes, the ac flex belt has no tensioner and is kind of weird to replace. I changed mine because I heard a noise, but it was debris lodged under the ac compressors between the cover. I wouldn't worry until probably another 15k miles.
Rockauto has motorcraft belts.

I'll see how long my main belt holds up. Have 13K now. To change or not change the tensioner with belt change is the question? You can throw on a new belt and see if it does the trick.
I normally replace the tensioner as well since I'm already there. I try to degrease the pulleys with alcohol, or Simple Green, and scrub with an old toothbrush. Then rinse/dry. I like to know the pulleys don't have any oily substance.
I notice an installation tool under belts for the Focus at Rock Auto. Never dealt with these stretch belts before.
I bought a 2005 Escape that has the non adjustable belt for the water pump. I'll be replacing it when I change out the motor.

Autozone has the stretch belt tool to rent for free, it basically just protects the belt from the lip of the pulley as it stretches across it.

A stretch belt tool is really simple... I've seen some on Amazon for less than a few bucks. You just have to be sure there is enough clearance because some stretch belt tool are bigger than the others.
Whatever you do... don't use the screw driver method.
EDIT: not replying to you directly but just adding infos.
